Description
Cottage Pink, Feathered Pink, Scotch Pink, Pinks…… No matter what you want to call it, no garden should be without a couple of these charming plants. They bloom from May-June to hard frost, in my area. After first bloom and following seed collection, I will cut back and I usually get a second flush of blooms.
They seem to be tolerant of many different types of soil, except for wet, poorly drained soil. Division in spring every 3-4 years is recommended.
