Description

Found in meadows and moist woods.  There are areas here that these striking flowers grow abundantly.

These are very hardy plants as they grow well into the Rocky mountains.  I have had a hard time getting them established here in the yard, is that a testement to their difiiculty or because of me?   I’m the first to admit my hand’s off approach to this wild garden that I co-exist with.
